Judges for the Media Literacy Contest are drawn from interested media professionals in print, television, and internet.

Essay Judges

Su Eckhardt

Su Eckhardt is a retired K12 educator who now works as a Network Professor for the Graduate Level School Library and Instructional Leadership Program at the University of Colorado Denver. She is also the current President of the Colorado Association of School Libraries, representing over 300 school librarians in the state

Bev Robin

Bev Robin is a retired library teacher in the Cherry Creek School District. She is an author, devotee of the arts, and a passionate educator

Kate Tweedy

Kate Tweedy is an author and is presently writing a book about Secretariat, her grandfather was his owner.

Tracy Frickey

Tracy Frickey is a former gifted and talented teacher for Jefferson County and is married to Norty Frickey who currently has 28 years of experience in the advertising industry as CEO of Network Affiliates.  Tracy is passionate about the education of our youth.                               

Sarah Burke

Sarah Burk is a retired educator and instructional coach from Jefferson County Public Schools; now Assistant Professor at Colorado Christian University in the School of Education teaching curriculum classes and working with partner schools and teacher candidates

Bette Soneff

Bette Soneff is an educator and editor.
